Jack Reacher

July 3, 2012

Lee Child fans, I present to you Jack Reacher. This is the first look at Tom Cruise in the adaptation of Lee Child’s fun, brutal, and bloody Jack Reacher series. Although Child’s character is sopposed to be 6’2″, built like a brick wall, and blonde, Cruise’s looks bone crushing in this teaser. Could be a great start to a long series….

Looper

June 27, 2012

Time Travelers, I present to you the eye popping international trailer for Looper! I have been so incredibly excited for this movie since the day I heard about it and now I am even more excited after seeing this extended trailer. Rian Johnson, my favorite up and coming director (Brick and The Brothers Bloom, two movies which if you have not seen you should drop everything and go watch now), helms this fast paced tale of hit men and time travel. Sounds like a winning combination to me. And with the likes of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis, this movie is going to blow minds like a homeless guy on bath salts. This is the Doctor, signing out….

Monsters University

June 27, 2012

Creepies and Crawlies, I present to you the trailer for Monsters University. Monsters in college, sounds like Boston College! Usually, sequels are never my jam. But Monsters Inc. was a great movie and I think this has potential, especially for an older audience who actually saw the original movie. John Goodman and Billy Chrystal are back to to the voice overs, along with Steve Buscemi,  Ken Jeong, and Kelsey Grammer. Looks like a good time to me.

Dredd

June 27, 2012

Judge and Jury, I present to you the trailer for Dredd. This is the remake of the Sylvester Stallone’s film Judge Dredd. It centers around a Judge, played by the scowling and growling Karl Urban, who is a police officer with the rights of a judge, jury and executioner. Using a newly developed drug as an excuse to shoot half the movie in slow motion, Dredd must battle his way up an apartment complex filled with drug runners and users to cut off the supply to Metro City.
